Artists who are willing to participate will be adorning their own works of art onto paper, which will later, throughout the day be placed into an auction, in the hope to raise as much money as humanely possible, for Tony Young's Children.
Tony, a very good friend of ours, (along with a lot of others within the tattoo fraternity) as we all know, saldly passed away. Tony was one of those men, a gentleman, who was always full of smiles, and liked to live life to the full. He was also one of these people that would do anything for anyone.
In 2005, Tony helped us raise a large amount of money for the Ben Hurdess Appeal- where he got on stage on his BIRTHDAY, and had money stapled to his body parts, mostly his genitals (ouch!). This guy had real balls, where he SOLELY raised approx. £500. He also purchased items in the auction, and then walked round with a bucket to increase the funds further. The total raised was £4500.00 (Well Done, and thank you to everyone who contributed).
All money raised from the sales of these works of art, will be placed into a trust for Tony's children. I would like to ask everyone to do the same for Tony, as he would, and has done for others, and that is to dig deep!
Our thoughts will always remain with Tony's family, his partner Thelma, and friends. He was much loved and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
WE HAVE FROM 2005-2008 RAISED MONEY FOR TONY'S CHILDREN-THELMA ALONG WITH OURSELVES NOW FEEL THAT MONEY RAISED FROM 2009 WILL BE DONATED TO BONIFIED, REGISTERED CHARITIES.
